As Shropshire PAT Testing, we pride ourselves on personal attention and dedication to every detail, ensuring your electrical equipment is safe. Our approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to excellence for businesses in the SY, WR, WV, & DY post code areas.
How much does PAT testing cost?
The cost of PAT testing varies depending on the number and type of appliances to be tested. We offer competitive and transparent pricing. For an accurate quote tailored to your specific needs, please get in touch with us at:
07301 431957 or info@shropshire-pat-testing.com.
We aim to provide cost-effective solutions without compromising on safety and quality. Pricing starts from as little as £1.20 per test
Do customers receive a certificate?
Yes, absolutely. Upon completion of our PAT testing service, you will receive a comprehensive report and a certificate of compliance. This documentation confirms that your appliances have been tested to the required standards and helps you demonstrate due diligence in meeting the Electricity at Work Regulations.
Is there a requirement to PAT test annual
Equipment re-test frequencies vary by appliance type and application. We are happy to help develop your asset register and retest schedules and manage them ongoing. In doing this your business would receive prompts regarding retest schedules 1 month in advance affording your business time to prepare and minimise inconvenience.
Is PAT testing a legal requirement?
While there isn't a specific law that explicitly states 'PAT testing is compulsory', the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 require that all electrical equipment that has the potential to cause injury is maintained in a safe condition. PAT testing is the most effective and widely recognised method to ensure this compliance, especially for businesses, landlords, and high-risk environments like construction sites and commercial kitchens, clinical & nursing care facilities along with all business environments.
